1956—2026

1956

Guangzhou Wire Factory was established through the transformation of public-private ownership and underwent public-private joint ownership reform.

1980

The trademark TWIN RHOMBI has been successfully registered.

1984

Wires and cables under Guangzhou Cable’s TWIN RHOMBI brand have been awarded the National Quality Award of the People's Republic of China.

1992

The Baiyun Production Base is fully operational, equipped with newly introduced CCV production lines. Our medium-voltage cable products have filled the market vacuum in South China.

1997

The first wire & cable enterprise in Guangdong to obtain ISO 9001 certification

2013

Recognized as Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center.

2014

The Nansha Plant was officially put into operation.

2019

The TWIN RHOMBI trademark has been rated No.1 in trademark value within Guangdong’s wire and cable industry.

2020

Laboratory Granted National CNAS Accreditation

CNAS: National authoritative laboratory accreditation institution with global mutual recognition status


2021

In 2021, the company joined Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group (GIIHG). As a Fortune Global 500 municipal state-owned industrial conglomerate under the Guangzhou Municipal Government, GIIHG focuses on advanced manufacturing, new energy and industrial investment, owning numerous listed enterprises and well-known industrial brands.

2022

We refined and formalized our corporate culture system in 2022, clarifying our corporate mission, vision and core values to unify our corporate philosophy and guide long-term development.

2022

We acquired a controlling stake in Guangzhou Guanglan Yiming Electric Co., Ltd.

Focusing on electrical supporting accessories, Yiming Electric delivers matching supporting products and one-stop auxiliary service for our wire and cable business, completing our industrial chain layout in power transmission and distribution.


2023

We were selected as one of China’s Science-Based Reform Enterprises by SASAC, the central state asset regulator. This title recognizes our achievements in technological innovation and market-oriented system reform.

2025

Greater Bay Area Power Transmission & Distribution Industrial Park Launched, New Corporate Name Adopted
